Canon rolls out three new EF lenses 07 Feb 2012, 07:00
If you've been saving up for a new Canon lens, here are three new ones that'll certainly lighten your wallet:- EF 24-70mm F2.8L II USM: reduced chromatic aberrations and improved sharpness across the frame compared to its predecessor; sealed against dust and moisture; ships in April for $2299
- EF 24mm F2.8 IS USM: seven blade aperture for nice bokeh; silent operation for movie recording; ships in June for $849
- EF 28mm F2.8 IS USM: same as above, but a bit more telephoto; ships in June for $799

Fujfilm has released the U.S. pricing for their X-Pro1 interchangeable lens camera, which was announced back at CES. The camera will ship at the end of this month for $1699, body only. As for the three new lenses, they're priced as followed:- FUJIFILM XF 18mm (27mm equivalent) F2.0 lens - $599.95
- FUJIFILM XF 35mm (53mm equivalent) F1.4 lens - $599.95
- FUJIFILM XF 60mm (90mm equivalent) F2.4 lens - $649.95

Pentax unveils one-of-a-kind K-01 interchangeable lens camera 02 Feb 2012, 18:00
camera that uses the venerable K-mount. What makes it unique is its one-of-a-kind design created by Marc Newson, whom I admit I'd never heard of until I saw the camera last month. The retro modern design and color scheme is certainly going to garner a lot of attention, sot he K-01 is not for photographers who don't want to be noticed.
