Sadly, a police officer shot and killed a 15 year old boy and that should not have happened.  The riots have extended to about 10 days and they are the beginning of the rebirth of democracy.

It was about time that this happened, and I know that this will be very hard for foreigners to understand, but it has to do with the problems that are created by the politicians, the church, and life styles.

Greed is a terrible thing and that is the spark that has started the fire.  There are too many corrupt politicians, and these days even the churches have joined in on the corruption.  The USA is not far off from having the same problems from what I have been seeing on Bloomberg, CNN, and the BBC.

Europe is facing another revolution these days since they continue to try to hold onto their medieval style calling it socialism while the politicians tax people to the hill and fail to reciprocate in many areas.  The riots here have already started to flow into France and will most likely head into other EU countries.

Unemployment is and will be higher because again unfortunately the European leaders play follow-the-leader while sadly the leader (the USA) is going off a cliff and the EU leaders are going blindly with them.

I could go on and on but there are too many issues.

Once again, the temptation was just too great for what has to be the worse president in the history of the United States.

Mr. Bush will be leaving the presidency after creating one of the largest bills to taxpayers in the USA.

As any good business person knows, you never pump more funds into a dying or dead prospect but Mr. Bush couldn't care less because he knows that the problem will not be his but that of Mr. Obama and the American public.

Many assumptions are now being formulated but the truth of it is that it is better to have cut off a cancerous limb than to have it spread.

As for the American auto industry:

• reduce car engines to 1000, 1600, and 2000 cc's
• reduce auto workers salaries to about $40 per hour
• reduce executive pay, bonuses, and eliminate expense accounts

just  for a start and maybe you will have a chance at competing to stay alive.

Well Athens has now had a face lift. The young have finally acted and unfortunately due to the death by an innocent youth. Greece, the country where democracy was born has managed to exile democracy until this past week. The act of rebellion is viewed as an "indicator" to the Greek politicians but is also watched by the other European politicians as if Greece is a psychological laboratory for the experimentation of legislatures thrown at the people to determine just how far the politicians can abuse them. What we have seen this week shows that there is still some existence of life in the Greeks even though I believe that this will once again simply fade away with the coming weeks as they remiss into their comatose lifestyle. It is ironic how a people can view Obama's election as their own positive step forward and yet not be able to change their own country due to the insistent comparison between capitalistic and communistic clashing images created by their own politicians.

It looks like the company men at the American auto companies should head over to get their pink slips now.  Why wait, avoid the queues, accept failure, and get a fresh new look on business, from the gutter.

The American auto industry is a failure due to the incompetence of the management and the over exorbitant wages demanded by auto workers today.  The downfall might easily be blamed on globalization but hey we all face that problem.

It would be an enormous error by the US government to give taxpayers money to the same people that say that they can save those companies when they haven't been able to do it all this time.

This is not where the problem starts.

The real problem begins when those who are supposed to nurture and educate the young fail to do so because of their own greed.

It is sad to see the degradation of the world on a daily basis but the problems of terrorism start at those who lead nations, who do not improve the lives of their citizens.

Should the nations of the world that provide support to poorer nations that do nothing but misuse the funds that are given to them?

I say no, not without guidelines.

What appears to be missing are psychological policies similar to that applied to children that would require the those nations to meet goals to continue to receive support for positive.

Does this mean that we are imposing our culture on those nations, no.

It means that we should not be giving money to them to develop terrorists rather than a positive environment that promotes progress.
