The Siemens Company monopoly must be dismantled
It is natural that companies are competitive and when their growth has reached a position where market absorption of their products and/or services has been reached, it is logical that they want to supplement other businesses that are linear to increasing sales, capacity, and growth. The problem of the profusion of companies occurs when they become monopolies.
Siemens is a German company that has bought companies in various countries and has become a manipulative entity that is being scrutinized for its business practices.
As an example of the power of this company, the metro system in Greece is being delayed because Siemens is refusing to supply parts. The reason that they are refusing to supply the parts necessary for the completion of some metro stations is that the Greek government has begun investigations against the company following the trial that was conducted in Germany regarding kickbacks and corruption by company management. Siemens is being investigated by the government of the USA for similar ethics problems, and has been tried and convicted by other countries.
Greek Politicians Named In Siemens Bribery Probe
Everyone has seen the recent news regarding the blocking of AT&T with Vodafone and Wind mobile telecoms. The Department of Justice or DOJ as it is known is an antitrust division of the US government that monitors and tracks the mergers to prevent mergers that can become unfair to consumers.
Europe fails to monitor and control monopolies. Where is the European counter-part?
When companies like Siemens can virtually blackmail countries by not complying with contracts and legal agreements to provide products or perform services, it is time to take action against them as monopolies.
If you don’t think that a company can directly affect you, then have a look at this video clip of this person.
