Peter's Viewpoint
Greek leadership forgets to wear its laurels while trying to correct the Greek mindset.

There are many proverbs or sayings in the English language, such as:
“If you are not part of the solution, then you must be part of the problem.” or “Where there is smoke, there must be fire.”
Greeks use an abundance of expressions during their everyday lives and the problems of the Greek mindset and the economy will not go away by using quaint locutions. I am taking the liberty to provide some of them that are appropriate to remind the leaders in their own languages within the text here.
“Απ' το κεφάλι βρωμάει το ψάρι”
From the head the fish stinks
"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark" - Shakespeare or corruption starts at the acme of society.
Over a year in power, the newly elected Prime Minister George Papandreou for Pasok, and Antonis Samaras for New Democracy, have not accomplished a single victory to correct the main issue at heart of the corruption in Greece, the politicians themselves.
"Κόρακας κοράκου μάτι δε βγάζει."
"The crow does not take the eye out of another crow."
People who are the same do not hurt each other.
The scenario of what will take place before and after the upcoming election in Greece continues to display the same tactics that have dominated in previous years, the passing of power to the second major political party.
"Ο θεός αγαπάει τον κλέφτη, μα σαν τον νοικοκύρη, όχι."
"God loves the thief, but not like the master of the house."
The crook may get away initially, but he will eventually get caught.
For the Greek people, it is time to face the fact that neither of these two politicians are striving to incarcerate their fellow peers and to retrieve illegal monies made by them to help the people and the country.
This leaves logic to dictate that they too must be part of the problem.
"Τώρα έφαγες το βόδι, θ'αφήσεις την ουρά;"
"Now you've eaten the bull, will you leave the tail?"
On seeing a task through to completion.
If the leaders of the two most powerful parties in Greece want to correct the situation, then they must sacrifice themselves to doing so by bite the bullet that they fear from their peers.
"Όφις ην μη φάγη όφιν, δράκων ου γενήσεται."
"A serpent, unless it devours a serpent, will not become a dragon.
Let’s hope that dignity and honor still prevail.
